Ana Solanas

She is a renowned Madrid-born painter with an extensive career.

Her life of travel has allowed her to experience different cultures and gain personal experiences that are reflected in her work.

She works with mixed media, and her paintings stand out for their use of color and human forms, which she masterfully combines to give her works great depth and strength. Although these elements do not disappear in her most recent works, in them we find Impressionistic and abstract influences. A characteristic feature of her work is the use of sand as a base.
